Today, Central Department of English, TU, Kirtipur organized its 15th monthly Talk Series in which Prof. Dr. Lucia Dura, Associate Dean, Graduate School, University of Texas at El Paso gave a wonderful talk on "Current Trends in Graduate Education in Rhetoric and Writing Studies". Dr. Lucia Dura’s presentation situated the interdependence of English, Rhetoric and Composition. She also discussed on the current trends of the research in the discipline. She demonstrated the conference and publication venues and resources in the discipline which the participants can utilize for their academic growth. Her focus on research on social justice issues and justice-based research with human participants was pragmatically insightful.
